The KITAR Department congratulates Karpenko Ilya, a student of grade 10-A, KZ “Kharkiv Lyceum No. 178 of the Kharkiv City Council”, who took first place at the regional competition of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, in the “Robotics” section, with his work on the topic “Development of an experimental model of a small-sized mobile robot”. Ilya completed the work under the supervision of Svitlana Olehivna Starikova, a mathematics teacher at KZ “Kharkiv Lyceum No. 178 of the Kharkiv City Council”, with scientific consulting of Dr. of Engineering, Professor of the KITAR Department Yevseyev Vladyslav.

Our teachers Prof. Nevlyudov Igor, Prof. Yevseev Vladislav, Assoc. Prof. Maksymova Svitlana, Assoc. Prof. Chala Olena and Senior Lecturer Gurin Dmytro took part in the XXXII International Ukrainian-Polish Scientific and Technical Conference “CAD in Machine Design: Implementation and Training Problems” (CADMD 2024), which took place on November 28–30, 2024, at the National University “Lviv Polytechnic.”

On November 22, 2024, the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies of Automation and Robotics held a meeting of working groups dedicated to developing projects for educational and professional programs and the educational and scientific program of the specialty G7 Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics for entrants in 2025, as well as reviewing existing educational programs.

To fulfill the tasks of Sustainable Development Goal 4. QUALITY EDUCATION (ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all), the KITAR Department of NURE offers free basic courses “I want to be a maker” and “Mom, I am a 3D modeler” for students in grades 9-11 who are interested in technology, robotics and programming.

A solemn event was held for the World Science Day in the name of peace and development, where scientists of our Kharkiv universities, including KHNURE, received awards and honors!

The teachers of the CITAR department (Ihor NEVLUDOV, Sofiya KhRUSTALOVA, Andriy SLYUSAR, and Kyrylo KhRUSTALOV) took part in the annual IEEE conference PIC S&T 2024, which was held at the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics from November 5 to 8, 2024.
