Assistant professor of the СITAR department, Ph.D. Zharikova Iryna acted as the author of the project on the crowdfunding platform “My City”, the purpose of which was to collect funds for the purchase of field kitchens for the defenders of Kharkiv region and the civilian population from the de-occupied territories of our region.

On September 14, 2023, the CITAR department held entrance exams for graduate students on speciality 174 “Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics”. The commission included: head of CITAR department prof. Nevliudov I., dean of the Faculty of ACT, prof. Filipenko O., professor of the faculty ST prof. Bezkorovainy V., and teachers of the CITAR department, prof. Tsimbal O.M., prof. Yevseev V.V.

On September 13, 2023, the head of the CITAR department, Prof. Nevliudov I.Sh, and teachers V.V. Evseev, N.P. Demska, S.S. Maksimova. with a colleague from the department of automated design systems of Lviv Polytechnic National University Kolesnyk K.K. took part in IEEE XXVIIIth International Seminar/Workshop DIRECT AND INVERSE PROBLEMS OF ELECTROMAGNETIC AND ACOUSTIC WAVE THEORY (DIPED) in Tbilisi. As part of the conference, a report was given on the topic “Mobile Robot Navigation System Based on Ultrasonic Sensors”.

Our teachers Prof. S.P. Novoselov, Assoc. O.V. Sychova, as well as Art. off SI. Teslyuk received advanced training from the Global Logic company on the topic of IT tools for teachers!

The teachers of the CHINA department are engaged in self-development even during the summer vacation! Prof. S. Novoselov, Assoc. prof. O. Sychova, Assoc. prof. A. Bronnikov and Sen. lect. S. Teslyuk received advanced training from Sigma Software in the summer at the event SSWU TCHR002: TEACHERS` SMARTUP: SUMMER PRODUCTIVITY !

Advanced training was held on the following topics: Updating and expanding knowledge in the field of using new technologies for distance and face-to-face education from JavaScript frameworks, From code to product: building our own CI/CD pipelines, Blockchain in continuous education and professional development, Development Operations on modern projects, JS/TS Application Areas, Workshop Strategies and Tactics, HTTP Frameworks with Json (Scala), Data Engineering Trends and Tools, Life on the Other Side of Object Oriented Programming, Learning Java: Educating a New Generation of Programmers, Impact of Architectural Patterns and Approaches on the structure of the code base of the project, Low-code development!

This year Assoc. chairs KITAR Bronnikov A.I. passed advanced training under the Wildau-Kharkiv IT Bridge II program and received a course participant certificate from June 29, 2023, Hochshule Wildau Technical University of Applied Sciences, Wildau-Kharkiv-IT-Bridge (WKITB) under the DAAD program project “Ukraine digital: Ensuring academic success in times of crisis (2023)”.

Dear interested parties,

We are again offering an interdisciplinary teaching module combining biology and technology to explore climate change and root zone. In international teams you will develop and evaluate your own experiments. We will conduct most of the module online, but in addition you will be allowed to come to the University of Cologne  for two to three weeks to conduct experiments (costs covered by the University of Cologne Plant-Ukraine project, Plant Ukraine WS2324) (approx. from 30.10.2023-17.11.2023). The module starts on 25.09.2023 and we expect regular participation. Up to 12 credit points (equivalent to 360h of time) can be earned. However, we need your feedback on which exams you have to take in order to get credit for the module at your university (please ask for support from the lecturers).  An oral presentation, as well as the preparation of a labbook are obligatory and other performance tests (such as a written exam) can be set.
