The teachers of the department took part in the 15th International Conference “ICT in Education, Research, and Industrial Applications: Integration, Harmonization, and Knowledge Transfer”
The teachers of our department, ass. professor Iryna Botsman, ass. Victoriia Bortnikova and ass. Olena Chala took part in the 15th International Conference “ICT in Education, Research, and Industrial Applications: Integration, Harmonization, and Knowledge Transfer “, which was held in Kherson State University from 12 to 15 June 2019. The conference included work in several areas, in particular, in the sections “Advances in ICT Research”, “Information Systems: Technology and Applications”, “ICT in Education” and “ICT Cooperation in Academia and Industry”, where problems of development and use of software, cyber-physical systems and intellectual technologies for industrial needs, which are indispensable signs of the development and implementation of the Industry 4.0. In addition, much attention was paid to the use of multimedia tools in the educational process.
At the poster session on June 13, staff members of the CITAM department presented their scientific results on the topic “Search Query Classification Using Intelligent Manufacturing Systems”.
During the conference, our colleagues visited several different sections where they could improve their skills and gain new knowledge, which will certainly come in handy during further research and preparation for training sessions.
ICTERI-2019 conference is always held at a very high organizational level. This is evidenced at least by the fact that this year the selection of the conference participants was very tough, and only about 20% of the reports were accepted by the organizing committee after reviewing. We express gratitude to the organizers of the conference in the person of Alexander Spivakovsky and Natalia Kushnir for the fruitful work and hospitality!
We hope that the experience gained while participating in such a large-scale scientific event will inspire our young scientists to new scientific achievements.
