Our department is participating in the project “Encouraging Enrollment in Technical Specialties at Universities of Kharkiv”!
The project is being implemented by the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the NGO “Platform for Public Diplomacy” in cooperation with the Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, specifically the СITAR department, with the support of the USAID “Strengthening Public Trust (UCBI IV)” project.
The project’s main goal is to increase youth interest in obtaining technical education. The project involves a series of educational events in eight cities of the region to ensure young people have equal access to the basics of technical education and to enhance their interest in further studying their respective specialties.
Over the past 2 weeks, several online meetings have been held with students from schools in the Kharkiv region, specifically from the Lyubotyn, Merefa, Balakliya, Sakhnovshchyna, Valky, Berestov, Zlatopil, and Chuhuiv communities. The total number of interested participants was around 700 visitors! Additionally, offline meetings and master classes are planned in these communities!
From KNURE, the project was attended by Ph.D., Associate Professor of the СITAR Department Artem Bronnikov, who talked about the intricacies of education in technical specialties and current issues in robotics and 3D printing!
On behalf of the department, we thank the Ministry for Strategic Industries of Ukraine and the NGO “Platform for Public Diplomacy” for the opportunity to share our scientific achievements with the students of Kharkiv region schools.
