The ACITS faculty team participated in the Smart Industry Hackathon
The ACITS faculty team consisting of: Bohdan KARPOVYCH and Svitlana BEDENKO, students of the ACTACIT-23-2 group, took part in the Smart Industry Hackathon, which was held by NURE together with the international engineering company S-Engineering (1.04-08.04.2026). The event was aimed at developing students’ engineering competencies and involving young people in solving current problems in the fields of automation, power supply, energy efficiency and digitalization of industrial processes.
As part of the Hackathon, participants worked in teams on practical cases that model real production situations, with the involvement of mentoring support from specialists from the partner company and NURE.
According to the results of the competition, a student of the ACTACIT-23-2 group of the ACITS faculty, Bohdan Karpovych, became one of the two winners of the Hackathon, which is a confirmation of the high level of his professional training and engineering potential. The winners of the Hackathon will receive a monthly scholarship of UAH 5,000 from S-Engineering for six months.
Participation and victory in such events confirm the high level of training of students of the AKITS faculty and their readiness for the real challenges of modern industry.
