1998 – graduated from Kharkiv State Polytechnic University, majoring in dynamics and strength of machines, qualification – mechanical engineer-researcher,

2001 – defended his thesis in the specialty 05.02.09 – dynamics and strength of machines on the topic “Development of a method for calculating contact stresses on sealing surfaces of high-pressure valves”; the defense took place at NTU “KhPI”)

2015 – received the certificate of associate professor of the Department of Theoretical Mechanics

2015 – defended his doctoral dissertation in the specialty 05.14.14 – Thermal and Nuclear Power Plants on the topic “Improvement of the theoretical foundations for substantiating the operability of thermal and nuclear power plant equipment components”; the defense took place at the Odesa National Polytechnic University

Since 2020 – Professor of the Department of CITARSE

Scientific activity

Scientific interests: identification and automation of transient modes of operation of complex engineering systems, taking into account various performance limitations and optimal conditions; control theory; theory of elasticity, plasticity, and creep; use of artificial intelligence and databases in CAD; programming of scientific and engineering calculations; problems of using CAD, CAM, and CAE.

 

International activities/participation in international projects

International project “Development of international cooperation with Ukrainian universities in the field of energy and transport,” funded in 2018 by the Czech Development Agency in accordance with the memorandum “Modernization of the public education system in Ukraine,” signed on December 2, 2015, between the Czech Development Agency and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine

 

Public activities

Member of the Organizing Committee of the Eleventh Japanese-Mediterranean Workshop on Applied Electromagnetic Engineering for Magnetic, Superconducting, Multifunctional and Nanomaterials (JAPMED’11), held in Batumi (Georgia) in the summer of 2019.

 

Awards and prizes

Award of the Presidium of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine for Young Scientists in 2010 for a series of scientific works “Methods for assessing the strength of containers for packaging radioactive waste from nuclear power plants and the walls of vacuum chambers for removing particles from accelerators.”
