Scientific guidance and innovative research at the CITAR department

The CITAR department is actively developing scientific work aimed at introducing modern engineering technologies into medical practice. A striking example of such activity is the scientific guidance of the head of the CITAR department, Igor Shakirovich Nevlyudov, in the dissertation research of postgraduate student Bogdan Sergeyevich Misan.

The postgraduate student’s dissertation is devoted to a topical and socially significant topic: “The use of 3D printing technologies in the manufacture of shock-absorbing medical inserts for lower limb prostheses.”

The study examines the use of additive technologies to create customized medical inserts that provide effective load absorption, increased patient comfort, and improved prosthesis performance. Particular attention is paid to the selection of materials for 3D printing, the optimization of insert design, and the analysis of their mechanical and operational properties.

Under the guidance of Igor Shakirovich Nevlyudov, the research combines a fundamental scientific basis with a practical focus, meeting modern requirements for interdisciplinary developments at the intersection of engineering, medicine, and digital manufacturing technologies. This approach allows us to obtain results that have real potential for implementation in the field of medical prosthetics.

The collaboration between the scientific supervisor and the postgraduate student contributes to the development of innovative solutions, the training of highly qualified scientific personnel, and the strengthening of the scientific authority of the CITAR department in the field of modern technologies and applied research.
