Our associate professor took part in the dissertation defense.
While everyone else was away on vacation, our Associate Professor Svitlana Maksymova was hard at work at Lviv Polytechnic National University, serving as an official opponent for the dissertation defense of Roman Ihorovych Vynarovych. His thesis was titled “Structures and Models of Programmable Systems-on-Chip for High-Frequency-Selectivity Adaptive Acoustics Applications.” It is worth noting that with the implementation of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0, a critical challenge within the modern automated workspace concept is dynamically adapting to changing acoustic conditions to minimize noise exposure for personnel.
It is gratifying to see that the research areas of our department (CITARSE) and the CAD Department at Lviv Polytechnic National University are closely linked – and in many cases, fully aligned. Moreover, this research is at the forefront of cutting-edge technology.
Such fruitful collaboration enables us and our colleagues to advance relevant scientific fields and remain competitive not only within Ukraine but also across Europe.
