On June 19-23, a working meeting was held under the project Green Transition for Ukraine Universities (GTUA)

On June 19-23, in the Austrian city of Graz (province of Styria) on the basis of TU Graz University of Technology, another working meeting was held under the project Green Transition for Ukraine Universities (GTUA), financed by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchanges NAWA. NURE was represented by the project coordinator from the university, the dean of the ACT faculty, prof. Oleksandr FILIPENKO.

 

The main tasks of the meeting were the study of the experience of the region and TUGRAZ University in the direction of the formation and implementation of programs of neutral influence on climate change – Climate Neutrality 2040, as well as the resolution of work issues of the GTUA consortium on the development of green standards for universities of Ukraine, the formation of the topics of the stakeholder survey on the definition of courses that under the system of microcredits, students of Ukrainian universities were allowed to be involved in the programs of promoting the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), preparing students for the summer school. The meeting was organized with the support of the participants of the consortium of European technical universities UNITE!, namely the Technological University TUGRAZ (Republic of Austria)  and Wrocław University of Science and Technology WroclawTech (Republic of Poland).

 

The representatives of Ukrainian universities were greeted by the rector of Graz University of Technology – prof. Harald Kainz (Rector Prof. Harald Kainz TU Graz)
