Great news! Under the leadership of our colleague, a scientific work on the topic “Development of a 3D printer with “Changing tools” technology” was completed

And we have some great news!

Under the guidance of our colleague, senior lecturer of the СITAR department Dmitry Aleksandrovich Nikitin, Nikita Papushya, a student of the 11th grade of Kharkiv Lyceum 62 and member of the departmental circle “3D Prototyping Laboratory,” completed a scientific paper on the topic “Development of a 3D printer with “Changing tools” technology.”

And according to the results of the defense of this project, Nikita took the prize, 3rd place, at the 2nd, All-Ukrainian stage of the competition of youth scientific and technical projects “InventorUA” from the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences in the nomination “New materials and nanotechnologies»

The project’s goal was to develop a 3D printing machine with the ability to change extruders during model printing.
The object of the work is the processes of additive manufacturing of three-dimensional models.
The subject of the work is the technological process of 3D printing using FFF/FDM technology.

The prize-winner, under the leadership of Nikitin D. O., completed the following tasks:
✅ familiarization with additive 3D printing technologies;
✅ analysis of the features of FFF/FDM technology;
✅ study of types of kinematics of machines and extruders for this technology;
✅ study of the features of 3D modeling in the Fusion 360 CAD system;
✅ development of a universal tool gripping system (extruder) for 3D prototyping machines using FFF/FDM technology.

We sincerely congratulate Nikita Papusha and his scientific supervisor on such high achievements and wish them further success and scientific achievements!
