Associate Professor Iryna Botsman became a laureate of a personal scholarship of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for young scientists for 2020-2022
Important and pleasant news! The associate professor of our department Botsman Iryna became a laureate of a personal scholarship of the Ministers Cabinet of Ukraine for young scientists for 2020-2022, which is assigned to young scientists for their significant scientific achievements over the past 5 years.
Iryna has been working as an associate professor of the department since November 2016. The direction of her research is associated with the development of technologies for the manufacture of flexible communication structures and the development of methods for improving their quality as part of electronic means.
The total number of works published by her in the period from 2015 to 2019 is more than 50, including 1 monograph, 2 scientific articles in foreign publications, 3 patents of Ukraine, 2 copyright certificates. The high level of scientific results obtained has been recognized both in Ukraine and abroad, as evidenced by the acceptance of reports at a number of international conferences and the availability of publications in the scientific bibliographic databases Scopus and IEEE Xplore Digital Library.
I. Botsman was the executor of several state budget research projects, as well as works under economic contracts.
She is the head of the student scientific circle, the head of the winners of the city competition of innovative projects and the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific works among students in the direction of “Radio engineering”.
Over the past 5 years, Botsman I. several times passed advanced training, including an internship abroad – at the Technical University of Varna (Bulgaria, 2018), and also took part in the 8th International Conference “Conference on Advanced Optoelectronics and Lasers” (“CAOL-2019 ») In the city of Sozopol (Bulgaria).
Since July 2018 Botsman I. has been holding the position of technical secretary of the Scientific and Technical Council of KNURE, 2019 was elected to the Council of Young Scientists of KNURE from the Faculty of ACT.
Associate professor Botsman I. actively introduces into the educational process. Over the past 5 years, Iryna has developed and taught 11 lecture courses, participated in laboratory work and practical classes in general from 18 disciplines, including two in English for foreign students.
In October 2019, Boatsman I. was awarded the Letter of Commendation from the Chairman of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration for a significant personal contribution to the implementation of the tasks of modern state policy in the field of education, conscientious work, and a high level of professional skill.
