An automated temperature control system for dry-heat sterilizers has been implemented at the CITARSE department of NURE.

At the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies, Automation, Robotics, and Safety Engineering (CITARSE) of the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, a research project was carried out on the topic: “Development and Implementation of an Automated Temperature Control Unit for Dry-Heat Sterilizers.”

Vladyslav Serhiiovych Artiukh, a first-year master’s student at NURE, and Leonid Stanislavovych Ivanov participated in the project. The project was supervised by Ihor Shakirovych Nevliudov – Head of the CITARSE department, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine.

The objective of this development was to create an intelligent automated control system for the temperature regimes of dry-heat sterilizers, ensuring precise heating control, temperature stability, and operational efficiency. The system’s hardware and software were developed by Vladyslav Artiukh, who implemented a comprehensive engineering solution integrating microcontroller technology, temperature monitoring, automatic control algorithms, and a user-friendly control interface.

Special attention is paid to accounting for thermal inertia, minimizing temperature fluctuations, and preventing equipment overheating. Vladyslav Artiukh specializes in the development of complex electronic systems, robotics, and the creation of integrated hardware-software solutions. A distinctive feature of his engineering approach is the ability to combine unconventional technical solutions – grounded in a deep understanding of electronics and programming – with the practical realization of his own ideas, spanning the entire process from initial concept to a fully functional device. The results of this research and development work demonstrate the potential of modern automation technologies and the practical value of engineering innovations for improving industrial and laboratory equipment.

The work was carried out at the CITARSE department of NURE, where scientific research and engineering innovations find their practical realization.
