A webinar was held on the topic “Business models for smart cities in the context of digitalization: challenges and opportunities”
On February 26, 2026, a webinar “Business Models for Smart Cities in the Context of Digitalization: Challenges and Opportunities” was held.
The speakers of the event focused on the issues of business models in smart cities, public-private partnership (PPP) mechanisms, and effective cooperation of stakeholders in the process of implementing urban innovation projects.
During the speeches, the following were considered:
- modern approaches to forming business models in Smart City projects;
- tools for attracting investments within the framework of public-private partnerships;
- roles and responsibilities of key stakeholders (local governments, business, public sector, scientific institutions);
- practical cases of implementing smart solutions in business and communities.
Special attention was paid to the presentation of research results on the topic of the project. At the end of the event, the results of the Eco4Smart project were presented and further steps in its development were outlined.
The event was held within the framework of the implementation of the international project Jean Monnet Module “Ukraine-EU: Circular Economy Solutions for Smart and Sustainable Cities” with the financial support of the European Union
