A meeting was held with first-year students of the Faculty of ACT, dedicated to the issues of organizing the educational process and student life

On December 19, 2025, an informative and meaningful meeting with first-year students of the Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies was held online, dedicated to current issues of organizing the educational process and student life.

 

During the meeting, the Deputy Dean for Educational and Methodological Work, Professor Olena Tokareva, highlighted the main organizational aspects related to the educational process and final control. Students were able to receive useful explanations regarding academic performance, assessment of learning outcomes, and the formation of a scholarship rating.

 

An important part of the event was the speech of Associate Professor Oksana Sychova, responsible for the recognition of learning outcomes at the Faculty of ACT. She spoke about the formation of individual educational trajectory of education seekers, introduced the audience to the possibilities of crediting results obtained within the framework of non-formal and informal education, in particular online courses, trainings and internships, and explained the procedure for their official recognition at the university.

 

Special attention was paid to involving students in scientific activities. Freshmen were invited to actively participate in the work of scientific circles of the CITAR department, which provide opportunities for developing research skills, participating in conferences, competitions and projects, as well as for forming professional competencies from the first years of study..

The final stage of the meeting was a speech by the Deputy Dean for Educational Work, Oleksandr Mamontov, who drew attention to important issues of life safety and occupational health. He emphasized the responsible attitude to one’s own safety during study, everyday life, and participation in educational and extracurricular activities..

 

The meeting was held in a friendly and open atmosphere, contributed to the better adaptation of first-year students to studying at the university and became a useful platform for obtaining important information and lively communication.
