A meeting of working groups was held dedicated to the development of projects for educational and professional programs and an educational and scientific program.

On November 22, 2024, the Department of Computer-Integrated Technologies of Automation and Robotics held a meeting of working groups dedicated to developing projects for educational and professional programs and the educational and scientific program of the specialty G7 Automation, Computer-Integrated Technologies and Robotics for entrants in 2025, as well as reviewing existing educational programs.

The working groups included representatives of all categories of educational program stakeholders: higher education students, representatives of student self-government, scientific and pedagogical workers, employers, and graduates of the educational program.

The meeting, which took place in a remote format, was dedicated to: analyzing program competencies and learning outcomes of applicants by the competency-based approach; discussing the goal, orientation, and features of educational programs; identifying educational components that take into account modern trends in the development of automated systems, radio-electronic instrumentation, cyber-physical systems, and digital transformation technologies.

The proposed list of educational components reflects current trends in the development of automation systems for radio-electronic instrument-making, their components, cyber-physical systems, and digital transformation technologies that are behind the tasks of Industry 4.0, contribute to the process of rapid adaptation of products and services of enterprises and companies, and also ensure the transition from the physical world to the digital one through the use of robotic and mechatronic devices.

The participants of the meeting approved the draft educational and professional programs of the first (bachelor’s), second (master’s) and academic and scientific programs of the third (scientific) levels of higher education in the specialty G7 Automation, computer-integrated technologies and robotics.

On November 25, 2024, at a meeting of the KITAR department, these projects were approved and recommended for publication for wide familiarization and public discussion on the official website of the department. Until December 24, 2024, the draft educational programs will be available on the official website of the department for familiarization, suggestions and comments of all interested parties.
