Industry 4.0

In the era of the introduction of the concept of Industry 4.0 and digital transformation of production, production systems are the market in which most industrial IT projects are implemented, in particular Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT).

IIoT technology is a key component of industry development worldwide. At the same time, the introduction of these technologies highlighted the direction of the “Internet of robotic things” (IoRT). This term assumes that sensor data from different sources is obtained, processed using local and distributed data, and then used to control and manipulate objects in the physical world.

Through the use of IoRT systems based on sensor systems and data analysis technologies, it will be possible to increase the efficiency of performing industrial and other tasks.

One of the key elements of IIoT technology is manipulation work and mobile devices that can capture, lift, hold and move objects using a system of relevant sensors.

Within the framework of professional training of students of specialties 151 – Automation and computer-integrated technologies (specializations Automation and computer-integrated technologies (ACIT) and Systems Engineering (SI)) at the Department of China Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies KNURE KNURE KNURE for familiarization with key components of industry technologies 4.0 and IIoT, in particular, the features of creating industrial systems based on IoRT and flexible automated technological systems are being studied. Students explore the Robotino mobile robot control system provided by Festo Didactic with the assistance of Ievgen Ryzhenko, create their own robots based on the Arduino and Raspberry PI hardware and software, and touch systems using intelligent sensors and computer vision.
