A solemn award ceremony for the winners of the district stage of the annual city competition “Young Person of the Year” was held in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv. The main goal of the event is to support talented and gifted youth who manifest themselves in various spheres of social, cultural and scientific life.

The best contestants were awarded by the head of the Shevchenkivskyi district administration, Volodymyr Kotkovsky, and the director of the Department for Family, Youth and Sports of the Kharkiv City Council, Oleksandr Vlasenko. The competition is held annually to stimulate the creative and professional activity of young Kharkiv residents.

The teachers of the CITARSE department, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Artem BRONNIKOV and Dr.D., Prof. Serhiy NOVOSELOV visited the settlement of Dokuchaivske, namely the Public Center for the Provision of Social Services of the Rohansk Settlement Council of the Kharkiv District of the Kharkiv Region, the department of daytime social and psychological support for families with children and individuals, where they held a fun master class for children, and also talked about modern technical education, in particular about the specialties and educational programs of the department!

The teachers of CITARSE department, Roman Strelets and Dmitry Nikitin spent an interesting and informative day together with the students of the Dergachi Lyceum No. 1 named after Danylo Bakumenko. The schoolchildren visited the university, visited the educational and scientific laboratory “Robotics and Intelligent Control Systems”, the educational laboratory “Industrial Automation and Mechatronics” and the educational and scientific laboratory “Additive Technologies and 3D Prototyping. After a cognitive journey through the laboratories, our teachers held an interactive master class on 3D printing. Our guests had the opportunity to feel like real specialists in the field of Robotics and Cyber-Physical Systems.
